Back in February a group of Sudborough enthusiasts did a clean up of the verges and vegetation of Sudborough. Lots was achieved and we all had a lovely bowl of soup to finish off in the village hall courtesy of Soup for Syria. CPRE (Campaign to Protect Rural England) run a litter awards scheme so I entered our effort. We didn’t win, but we did get a Highly Commended certificate which was very encouraging. If we enter again next year, I will know better how to present our efforts. Well done to everyone.
We will be doing another clean up in September and also some bulb and plant planting – I hope this will include some trees – so we will keep you posted.
